On Thursday, October 31, 2019, students in Morgan’s Architecture and Environmental Design Program (AREN) teamed up to provide design lessons to 150 6th and 8th graders from the Baltimore Design School (BDS).
On November 13 and 14, 2019, volunteers from Future Architects Resources (FAR)/Kids in Design, and architecture firm GWWO, Inc., participated in Junior Achievement (JA) Inspire. This two-day event at the Timonium Fairgrounds provided 8,000 eighth-grade students in Baltimore County Public Schools with an opportunity to explore career paths.The FAR team introduced students to careers in architecture and explained the necessary skills and qualities needed to become an architect.
