City Sand 2009 : A Raven Good Time
The Baltimore Architecture Foundation is currently signing up teams for its annual City Sand competition. This year’s competition will be held from 12 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 27. Come and enjoy a day in the sun at Harborplace, and compete with other teams from local architecture, engineering and design firms to build the best sand sculpture in Baltimore. Winners are selected by a panel of judges and by audience participation. This year we will be celebrating the bicentennial of Edgar Allen Poe’s birth with a special theme to commemorate him. The competition will be better than ever with great prizes and sponsors. We are currently signing up teams till May 15th, so hurry and don’t miss out on this Baltimore architecture tradition. If your firm has participated in the past please do so again, and defend your honor. If your firm has never participated, come check it out and see the fun you have been missing. It’s a great way to meet friends and show your competitors who the best designers really are!
