Remember that shake you felt under your feet in August of 2011? Just imagine what it did to some of our city’s architecture.
Join us Thursday, Feb. 21st at 4:00pm for a behind the scenes look at the repairs the Basilica has undergone as a result of the earthquake in August of 2011. Ellington Churchill of Lewis Contractors will lead the tour and show us just what it takes for an old building to recover from an earthquake. The Basilica will not officially reopen until sometime in March – so come and get a first look.
This tour is free but limited to 10 people. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please wear sturdy closed-toed shoes.

Special thanks to Lewis Contractors for providing this opportunity.
