Charles Belfoure & The Dead Architects Society at the Baltimore Book Festival

On Saturday, September 26, Charles Belfoure, author of  Edmund G. Lind: Anglo-American Architect of Baltimore and the South, will participate in a panel discussion “Buildings Alive—with Baltimore’s Dead Architects Society” at the Baltimore Book Festival’s Literary Salon in Mount Vernon Place’s East Park at 1:00 PM. Other panelists will include author and historian Mary Ellen Hayward, historic architect Walter Schamu, and museum consultant Dean Krimmel. The panel will be moderated by Damie Stillman, professor emeritus at the University of Delaware. Panelists will engage in a lively discussion of the work of Lind and other Baltimore 19th and 20th century architects who created Baltimore’s homes, businesses, warehouse, offices, and industrial buildings—many of which still exist today.
