BALTIMORE PLANNER PROPOSES DESIGN PROGRAM TO REDUCE CITY’S DEPENDENCE ON OIL
Stuart Sirota, principal of TND Planning Group and founder of Envision Baltimore, talks about best design practices in European transit, bike, and pedestrian infrastructure and how those lessons can be applied in the U.S. to help reduce dependence on oil. The illustrated lecture is part of the Architecture Foundation’s free weekly Forum series held at noon Wednesdays at the Johns Hopkins Downtown Center, Charles and Fayette Streets. Guests are welcome to bring a lunch.
